Voi vappuhan on jo kohta ohi, mutta kerkesin vielä työväen juhlapäivän aikana pienen postauksen laittaa. Ajelimme sunnuntaina koko perheen voimin Tampereelle Hot Rod & Rock Showta katsomaan. Kiertelimme ja kaartelimme halleissa, mutta muistikortille tarttui vain kuva tästä pitsimäisestä moottoripyörän tankista. Kuinka voikaan maalilla saada aikaan noin eläväisen pinnan. En voinut kävellä myyntitiskin ohi, jossa oli Kekkosen kangasmerkki. Merkkejä sai kolme kympillä, joten nappasin mukaani myös kirsikat. Vappua vietimme rauhallisissa merkeissä ja ulkoilutimme Amerikan unelmaa ensimmäisen kerran tänä vuonna.
Labour Day is almost over but I still managed to write a post before the day is at its' end. On Sunday our hole little family drove to Tampere for a car show. We strolled around the exhibition but all that was captured on my camera was this picture of a lacy tank. How on earth can someone create such a lively surface with paint? I could not walk past this fabric patch with a picture of our former president Kekkonen on it. The cherries came along for the ride because the deal was three for ten euros. Labour Day we spent cruising around in our American dream which woke up from its' winter sleep just yesterday.
