Ompelukoneeni on niin vähällä käytöllä, että joudun melkein joka kerta ompelun aloittaessani lukemaan käyttöohjekirjaa. Niin kävi nytkin, kun päätin tehdä pienokaiselle mekon. Innostus ompeluun tuli niin yhtäkkiä, että värkit oli kaivettava omista varastoista. Sieltä löytyikin tällainen iloisen vihreä collegekangas. Vyötärön kohdalle halusin jotain katseenkiinnittäjää, mutta taitoni eivät oikein riittäneet muuhun kuin tähän valmiiseen silkkikukkaan. Passaahan sekin.
Ohjeet tanttuun löytyvät muuten täältä. Ihanaahan näille pienille ihmisille ommellessa on se, että kaavoja ei tarvinnut suurentaa. Sen kun printtasin vain A4:lle.
I use my sewing machine so rarely that when I do I have to read the instruction manual almost every time. So happened again when I decided to make a dress for the baby. The idea to make it came up so suddenly that I had to dig my closets to find the materials. I ended up finding this bright green fabric. For the waist line I wanted to create a focal point but my skills were drawn to the limit even with this ready made silk flower. But it works just fine as well.
The instructions for the dress you can find here. The best about sewing for these little ones is that you don't have to enlarge the patterns. I just printed them out on a regular A4.
